Run Stage: 17km, or 7km & 10km for two runner teams.Two runner teams change at the bottom of Rapaki track. The route takes runners down Colombo St and over Rapaki track to Lyttelton. Fastest time around 1 hr

Cycle Stage: 30km Lyttelton/Evans Pass/Sumner/New Brighton/Kerrs Reach. Fastest time around 35 min

Kayak Stage: 6km from Kerrs Reach upstream to the Town Hall then 50 meter run to the finish. Fastest time around 35 min
