If you are new to adventure racing or fed up with the same old training routine, then the Kathmandu Adventure Series is a great event to start with. Races are designed to be fast and furious with teams changing between disciplines several times during the event.

The course is kept secret until the day of the race. At registration you will be issued with your maps and race instructions. Sometimes the maps will be premarked, other times you will need to copy the checkpoints off a master map. The race instructions will tell you in what order to collect the checkpoints and what equipment you can use.

Unfortunately the 2012 Kathmandu Adventure Series has been cancelled due to lack of entries.
