Motatapu 47km High Country Mountain Bike

Glendu Bay, Wanaka to Butler’s Green, Arrowtown

Set in a spectacular southern high country valley only open to the public 1 day a year. There are hills to climb, rivers to cross and a few steep descents thrown in the mix.

This event is always a sell out so get your entry in early to secure your spot.

Motatapu Icebreaker Off Road Marathon

Motatapu Station, Wanaka to Butler’s Green, Arrowtown

You’ll never run on road again!  Take on the challenge of this off road marathon. The breathtaking scenery is sure to keep motivation high as you pass through tussock-covered valleys and mountain fed rivers.

A spectacular 15km loop through the Glencoe Station with incredible backcountry views and a magnificent view of the Wakatipu basin.  This may be the shortest Motatapu course, but it’s by no means short on challenge.

2km Swim, 47km Mountain Bike, 15km Mountain Run.

51km team adventure run

As an Adventure Run competitor you will ascend a total of 2790 metres, traversing four peaks (the highest point being Jack Hall's Saddle at 1275 metres above sea level), and negotiating rough tussock-covered areas, long, steep saddles and river crossings.  The run rollows the DOC Motatapu Track.
