Mountain Man & Goat Race

The Mountain Man event is a multi-sport race comprising of road cycling, mountain running, mountain biking and kayaking. This event is open to individuals and 3 person teams.

The Goat Race traverses the legendary Croesus Crossing track from Barrytown to Blackball. This is a 25km long mountain trail running race and is an individual pursuit event, open to anyone over the age of 14. The track has a long history dating back to the late 1860's when gold was first discovered on the West Coast. It has a total accent of 1054 metres and has a maximum elevation of 1201 metres.
