First up, on Friday night it's the Wanaka Mitre 10 Criterium in downtown Wanaka. For 2012 we've included a D grade category so those of you who enjoyed watching the action last year but thought the pace looked a little brisk can give it a try. The D grade is perfect for anyone having their first try at criterium racing or who prefers a more sedate pace.

The long standing Outside Sports Alpine Classic will once again take place on Saturday morning. This popular 140km road cycling race takes riders on a scenic journey from Queenstown to Wanaka via the Crown Range. If you don't fancy tackling New Zealand's highest State Highway by yourself, why not enter as part of a team?

The Summer Send-Off 4 Hour Mountain Bike Race on Saturday afternoon will see some hot racing around the awesome Dean's Bank Track. Tackle the 12km laps as an individual or in teams of two-four.

Sunday 26th February will be an action-packed, fun-filled day with your choice of the Wanaka Medical Centre Long Course Triathlon, the Summer Send-Off Aqua Terra, or the MT Outdoors Multisport Race. Experience nature's own playground at its best as you swim/kayak, run and bike your way around one of the world's most picturesque courses. Individual and team options are available.
