The new pontoon features a specialist platform to lower and raise passengers into and out of the water in their kayaks.
Southern Discoveries will be operating new kayaking trips from the pontoon mid next week. The trips will operate in sheltered Harrison Cove, catering for a maximum of 12 people at a time with experienced guides leading the way.
Southern Discoveries' General manager John Robson said the kayak trips would be "a perfect fun activity" for people looking for a short, gentle paddle in one of the most majestic places in the world.
